INFORMATION WE NEED TO SHIP THE MARKER:
Please include the cemetery's name, address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and fax number, also the contact person's name and e-mail address if you have that. The more information you provide the better and quicker we will be able to help. Depending on the cemetery's ability to install, you will pay them direct for this service.
If we are not sending to the cemetery, please list the same kind of information for the destination of the marker.
WE OFFER FREE DELIVERY IN THE CONTIGUOUS 48 UNITED STATES.
Free delivery includes delivery to a business address not located in a residence or residential area.
After we receive your payment, and you have approved the proof, and the cemetery has approved the marker, it generally takes around 8 - 10 weeks for production and delivery. Shipments to HI, AK, and Canada will take longer*.
The marker will (in most cases) ship directly to the cemetery who will get a call from the freight company to schedule a delivery appointment.
ADDITIONAL CHARGES
If we ship to a residence the freight company charges an additional $400. (If you schedule home delivery, verifying cemetery approval is the responsibility of the purchaser.)
We will need to know if the truck needs a lift-gate for delivery ($75 charge).
There are EXTRA shipping costs to Hawaii (HI), Alaska (AK), Canada and other countries. These costs are calculated on the weight of the marker and the aaddress where the marker will be shipped.
**We will need to get with the freight company to verify shipping costs for delivery to HI, AK, Canada and other countries.
UPON DELIVERY
Please verify with your cemetery that they understand: When the marker is delivered, do not immediately sign for it. Please inspect the marker upon arrival. If all is good, sign the delivery receipt and then let the driver go. If there IS damage, please write the damage on the delivery receipt before signing your name. This will support a claim and the freight company will replace the marker they damage. The truck driver will not leave until you sign for the marker.
Freight company drivers do not place markers and will only unload the markers from the truck if you order a lift-gate (the cemetery usually has a means of removing the marker from the truck).
WINTER DELIVERIES
Some cemeteries will not accept delivery during winter months, especially those in northern states. Snow and ice or frozen ground makes installations impossible. Some installations cannot take place until mid-March or early April, and while some cemeteries or installers will allow us to ship early, others will not. Or, they may accept delivery and store the marker but not do the installation until later. Check with your cemetery to see if they have delivery cut-off dates. Be sure to order your marker early on so it is ready to ship as soon as possible.
